It doesn’t seem possible that it was 25yrs ago that I sat in the old waiting room of the practice with my wife, expecting our first child, and being interviewed by Richard Meggitt and Steve Yarwood for an associate position.
I went on to become a partner some 4 yrs. later and I haven’t looked back since!
The practice has grown considerably since then, not only in physical shape and size, having now become a 4 surgery practice with a dedicated decontamination room as well as a new staff room, but also in terms of the team.
There are now 16 of us, including a hygienist and dentist whose practice is limited to endodontics(root treatments), a practice manager, 3 reception staff and 7 dental nurses (including 3 apprentices), all of whom play a crucial part in the smooth running of the practice and are the secret to our success.
I like to think we provide high quality dental care in a friendly and relaxing environment to all our patients and they can all take for granted the high standards we constantly strive to meet, as demonstrated by our continued commitment to the Denplan Excel programme, which this year we surpassed ourselves!
I would like to thank everyone who is currently, or has been in the past, involved in the practice, for all their hard work and commitment.
I would also like to thank all the lovely patients we have who regularly come to visit us.
Without you, we would not have the wonderful practice we have.
