Good gum health is the cornerstone to good overall oral health. Our hygienist will not only help you to achieve this but also maintain a healthy mouth. The more you can do at home, the less we need to do! Healthy teeth are only as good as the gums that support them. - Tooth coloured restorations.
All restorations placed are tooth coloured to help blend in with your natural teeth in all but exceptional circumstances. - Crowns, bridges and metal free restorations.
We offer a range of crown and bridgework in Zirconia, all porcelain( either as all ceramic or with a metal substructure), composite and gold. - Cosmetic dentistry including “composite bonding”.
Whether you just want “white” fillings or an enhanced smile, we can offer a range of solutions including “composite bonding” to help you achieve the result you are after. - Porcelain and composite veneers.
Veneers are thin layers of either porcelain or composite filling material bonded to the outside surface of teeth often with no or sometimes with the minimum of tooth preparation. These can be used to change anything from the shape of the teeth to reducing spacing or even correcting the appearance of teeth which appear to be out of line. - Tooth whitening
Natural teeth can be lightened using a daytime or night time tray system, which has been shown to be a very reliable and effective way of improving the shade of your teeth without any unwanted harmful effects to the teeth themselves. - Root canal treatment/therapy (Endodontics)
When the nerve inside the tooth is irreversibly damages or even abscessed, the only way to preserve the tooth is by root (endodontic)treatment. All our dentists have years of experience carrying out this type of treatment, but we can also offer to refer you to Simon Barnwell, our inhouse dentist whose practice is limited to endodontics. Simon has previously worked in a private referral practice and we are very fortunate that he is now based at our practice. He also accepts referrals from many dental practices throughout Cheshire and beyond where he has an excellent reputation for his exceptionally high quality work which he carries out in a very relaxed and calm manner. - Minor oral surgical procedures.
The removal of teeth is always a last resort but sometimes this is unavoidable. On occasion buried roots or fractured teeth need to be removed using a surgical approach which can usually be carried out in-house by one of our clinicians, but we also have a good referral network for those particularly complex cases. - Dentures.
We can offer a range of natural looking dentures to replace missing teeth, whether it’s a more conventional fully acrylic denture, a flexible type of acrylic or one using a chrome/cobalt substructure.
