Welcome to Witton Street Dental Practice

We would all like to offer you a warm welcome to our dental practice which has been established since 1975 here in the heart of Northwich.

We are a thriving modern family dental practice with a team consisting of 3 dentists, a dually qualified dental therapist hygienist, fully qualified dental nurses and reception staff.

Our aim is to provide good quality dental care for the whole family in a happy and relaxed environment with an emphasis on prevention and minimal intervention.

We offer a full range of preventive as well as restorative treatments including tooth coloured fillings, tooth whitening, veneers, crowns, bridges and dentures, in addition to other cosmetic work.

Adults are seen on a private basis and can either pay for individual items of treatment or else join one of our low cost monthly payment plans offered through Denplan.

We are also able to see children on the NHS. Since 2008, our practice has been Denplan Excel accredited, proving our commitment to being fully compliant in all aspects of delivering high quality dentistry and oral health care.

All our dental care professionals are registered with the General Dental Council at Wimpole Street, London. We are also registered with the Care Quality Commission.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I register as a new patient with the practice?

Please ring the practice on 01606 44588 and one of our reception team will be happy to make you an initial consultation with one of our three dentists.

How much does it cost and what does it involve?

An initial 30 minute consultation is £65 and includes getting to know you as a person, giving advice on diet, oral hygiene and the importance of good oral health. A thorough examination will be carried out of not only your teeth but also your face and neck, lips, cheeks and tongue. We will check the health of your gums and look for any signs of gum disease. During this thorough examination, we will be looking for any signs of abnormality or conditions which can affect the mouth, especially with regards to oral cancer. X-rays will be taken to check for signs of tooth decay and assessment of the bone support of your teeth.

Will I be told how much any treatment needed will cost?

After a full examination and assessment you will always receive a written treatment plan and estimate, which will be fully explained to you to ensure you understand any proposed treatment.

What are my payment options?

All of our adult patients are seen on a private basis. You can either pay for each appointment or item of treatment as you go along, or join Denplan, our monthly payment plan. These options will be discussed with you during your initial consultation so that we can help you to decide which option is best for you.

Can I register as an NHS patient?

We are able to welcome all children and young adults in full time education to be seen on the NHS. All other adults can only be seen on a private basis as our NHS contract doesn’t extend to other groups of patients.

For all other information, please call one of our reception team on 01606 44588, who will be happy to assist you with any further questions.
